Strep B test?
Have you ladies had your strep B test yet? I go for mine tomorrow and was just curious...it's just a vaginal culture swab correct? I've read a bit about it and it has me a bit nervous. Apparently 1 in 3 women carry the bacteria. It sounds like you just have to have antibiotics for your delivery. Anyone have any experience with this subject?

I found out I had group b strep with a urine sample. But it's nothing to worry about. I got put on a 7 day antiobiotics treatment (8 pills a day!!!) They are horrible but it helps. And then also I will be having treatment during labour! Which will just be antiobiotics in my atm every 6 hours. Like I said it's nothing really to worry about, just need to get treated so it doesn't make ure baby sick when there born xxx
Yea that's right. I think it depends on how high of the bacteria you have to what ure treatment is. Some people only need to have treatment labour, others before too xxx
