Ipsy Does anyone use this site for makeup? Is it worth it? I know nothing about makeup and rarely…

I’ve heard boxy charm is better. But I still haven’t signed up.

Go for boxycharm

Boxycharm is far better. Ipsy you get little itty bitty samples and one deluxe/full size. With boxy you get brand names like coverfx, tarte, pur, ect. It’s $21 I think but still well worth it.

I thought it was a waste of $!a month for just like 5 little samples. You got cute little bags though.

I also have birch box and I love it. They send a lot of facial creams and scrubs

I really liked it for the price and it's good quality stuff.

I use Ipsy and love it. It's only $10 a month and most of the samples I get last for almost 2 months, sometimes longer! I think getting 5 products plus a cute bag is well worth $10.

The other box everyone is mentioning is over twice the price. But if you're ok with spending it, then go for it.

I use ipsy and love it also! The samples can be small but I'm pretty minimal with makeup anyway so it lasts me lol

If you're looking to build up your vanity and get all full sized items I would most definitely go with Boxycharm. You get 4-6 full sized items in each box. Lately, a full sized eyeshadow palette has been in every box. I had ipsy in the past and while it's a nice way to try out products, you don't get full sized products all the time. For $10 more I would go with Boxycharm. The price of all items combined always OVER exceeds the price of the box. It's extremely hard to get disappointed in any of the boxes honestly.

Some months are good some are not as good last month I got an awesome eye lashes curler. This month a double sided tweezer that is also awesome both items are well worth over ten dollars plus I have the other four items it came with and the bag it's a win for me and I try some things I never would.

Ipsy is hit or miss with me some months I love it others not so much. I do love Boxycharm!

I just found out by Jeffree Star on Twitter that they sell a bunch of knockoffs of his brand and some others so I cancelled my thing.

@MamaBird Woah. I just looked that up because I didn't hear about it. How could ipsy make such a stupid move? There's no mistaking that palette being a knockoff. ?‍♀️ I'm glad I'm not subscribed to them anymore. ?

I had ipsy and they were ok! I did it for 10 months and now I have tons of makeup bags that I have no idea what to do with. I did enjoy some of their samples and actually purchased full sizes but they started giving me crappy colors and eyeliners even though I said I didn't want them from the beginning! I always rated the eyeliners a 0 and still ended up getting them. I eventually just cancelled my subscription. I want to try boxycharm though! That one sounds better!

@joffree Yes! He straight up blasted them. They have Jaclyn Hill knock offs and others I can't remember. I hope he sues him and the brand.

I use it and love it ?‍♀️ I started using it back in September and so far I’ve loved the products they’ve sent me. I like the samples and it helps me explore different products without getting a full size and letting it sit forever without being used. If I wanted full size products I’d be buying only the ones I wanted and actually use. ?

It's garbage brands. Sephora Play box is all name brands and great items

I prefer Ipsy as well. I have things that last a while, cause I don’t wear makeup that often. I believe I’ve gotten a couple full size items. I also love the brushes that come in.

But this is the first time I’ve heard of boxcharm, so I may need to check them out lol
