Edible Finger Paint HELP
I saw on Pinterest a recipe for just Greek yogurt and flood coloring. It said it's for babies as well as toddlers. Is dairy safe for babies under one?

I started feeding my baby yogurt at around 8 months. I believe the only thing off limits is honey.
You can also make it with baby cereal and food coloring. It's a huge mess!! But fun.

My 9 month old already eats yogurt but I wouldn't be too into feeding him dyes... and they stain like a mofo. There are natural ways to dye paint, the only one I remember was turmeric for yellow.

Maybe I'll get fruit on the bottom yogurt instead lol. It'll be colorful and textured. With no dyes.

Good idea! When we did the baby cereal and dye, mine never ate it. It was smeared all over his high chair. If he did put it in his mouth, it would be so little. But it's more about the texture than anything. Doesn't even have to be colored.
Another fun one for babies is to put different colored finger paint on a piece of paper on the tray. Cover it with plastic wrap and let baby play with it through the plastic. It's no mess and nothing ingested.

That's a good one pp! I'm not too worried about her eating it. She refuses to eat solids of any kind.

We just used yogurt with fruit in it. It's already colored.
