Heartbroken
I dyed my hair a dark brown(I've always been blonde) and now my 6 month old thinks I'm a stranger. ??? she cried and cried so hard and i couldn't comfort her. She'd calm down for a second and then look up and start all over again. She wouldn't even nurse from me. Why did i think this was a good idea! ???

Sorry, mama! She'll get used to it. Keep her close as possible so she can smell your milk. I always did my hair in front of my daughter when she was a baby because I was afraid of this happening, went full blue and she loved it lol. Maybe that will help if you decide to change again in the future?

Same happened to my brother when he shaved off his (very bushy) winter beard! Omg his daughter was terrified. He felt awful! She was ten months at the time

I went from blonde to brown and my kids like didn't even notice! I'm sure it will pass, good luck

I did a lot of extra nursing that night and she woke up next to me in bed happy as a clam like always. I think it was the initial shock of it.

Lol im too scared to. What if my hair falls out! Plus pregnancy has darkened my hair quite a bit. So there's no point in pretending to be blonde.
