Favorite parent phase?
For the past month dd(6months) has been exceptionally clingy. She will not accept any other person other than me. She won't even let SO hold her. She will scream bloody murder if anyone but me picks her up or is playing with her. We've tried everything. The second i take her back from SO she's happy again.

For me it was around 1 1/2. Then my boys switched to only wanting dad. I became (and still am) chopped liver lol.

Well my son didn't go through a favorite parent phase, but he did go through something similar. He wouldn't let anyone besides me or my SO hold him, or even look at him lol. He's experiencing stranger danger I believe ? he was like this since about 4 months, and he's starting to get over it now at 7 months.

My 2nd son was like this!!! He sometimes still won't let anyone but me and dad hold him and he's almost 2&1/2 years old!!! He's getting better esp with people he's really familiar with. But the first year was really tough I couldn't put him down at all without him screaming crying

I'm currently in this phase with one of the twins. I walk in the room, she cries because she wants me to hold her. I leave the room, she cries because she wants me to hold her. She doesn't want anyone else to hold her. If anyone else even looks at her, she cries for me. If I hold or play with her sisters, she cries. I'm convinced she should have been an only child. ?
