So little! Please either do a lot of research or take it to an animal rehabilitation center, preferably the latter. Baby bunnies are super hard to take care of and if they get diarrhea there's a good chance they won't recover. I've had to raise a lot of baby bunnies that their moms abandoned and very few made it. :(
Oh no lol he's not keeping it. He's releasing is soon if he hasn't already. He lives right next to an acre or woods where other rabbits are. He said he seems ready to leave and healthy.
Usually, once they are out of the nest, they are big enough to fend for themselves (even if they don't look like it). Those poor things stress so easily. Literally being handled too much can kill them. Hopefully he is able to release it ?
Reminds me of the bunny my brothers dad gave him for his birthday when we were kids... we thought it was so cute and loved it woke up the next day poor little thing was dead. Best dad award goes to that guy for giving his son a wild baby bunny he found in the woods ?
Bunny was taken to a local rehab facility and was checked out. Bunny is healthy and was kept for a bit of observation. Bunny was offered food and water and was released not long ago! ???

Cute. But it's a wild rabbit. Make sure that you bring it to a wildlife rescue and don't try to raise it yourself lol.

Make sure its safe to handle?

He said he might take it over to a rehab center to have him checked out though. He lives out in the country. It's perfect bunny territory.

If he caught it easily I'm going to say it's probably sick or injured. I'd take it to a rehab place. Good luck!

Pp wild bunnies that are kept in captivity are prone to heart attacks from stress. From what I've read anyway.

Omg so cute ????
deleted-user·
@nyr you're completely right. They can't handle stress and you can often feel their little heart beating so fast

Yeah never keep the wild. This was a helpful thing he did though, also what happen med with the baby deer someone had saved? That post went nuts.

Very true. You can actually scare a rabbit to death.
