Peroxide. Our dane always scuffed his feet and got blood all over everything, including his fleece mattress covers.

It's a pink outfit. Will it ruin the color?

Rub an ice cube across the blood till it is gone

might sound crazy but I just got blood out of my white pink fleece due to a horrible nose bleed. I put dawn dish detergent on it sprinkled other with baking soda and poured vinegar where on top let it soak for about an hour maybe more because I forgot about it but then went and scrubbed it a little and the blood was gone. I just rinsed it out with fabric softener to get rid of the vinegar smell and hung it to dry and it was good as new.

If it's still wet, hand soap or dish soap does wonders.
Otherwise, Hydrogen peroxide. As soon after it occurs as you can. But make sure you test it on an obscure piece of the fabric first to make sure it's safe. I've used it on colored fabrics many times, but I'm sure it dependent on the fabric and dye. It works instantly though on blood, like magic, so you don't need to leave it on for a while.

Either peroxide or very cold water should do the trick

Peroxide. Use it about once a month. ??
