I'd take down their license plate number and call the cops.

I thought about it but I figured I'd rather have a photo of just bf on the internet rather than one of me bf and saying eff you....

I'd have flipped her off and taken a picture of her taking a picture of me and posted it all over facebook with a "How rude is the next generation? Trying to feed my child and this little sh!t thinks it's any of her business."

I live in Orlando in the Disney area and work at Disney so I certainly wouldn't want to flip them off Incase someone who knows me sees me do it... Disney sensitive about those things and reputation of its employees.

I also didn't want to hide my face, I feel like that furthers the "breastfeeding in public is wrong" mindset.

@Karen I'm under the assumption that if she thinks it's wrong then she learned it from somewhere.

I would've gotten the plate number too. That's a violation of your privacy, she has no right to have pictures of you. ? I'm sorry you had a hard time but I swear there are good people out there!

Like honestly why would she need a picture. If someone hates breastfeeding so much why take pictures of it and keep them on your phone. ?

You should have started posing. ? That probably would have made her put her phone down if she was indeed taking a picture of you.

I also think she was taking a selfie. Even now I sometimes take one if my SO gets out of the car to do something. He will laugh at me if he sees me so I wait till he gets out of the car. But if I do see someone around me I get so paranoid that they think I'm taking their photo.

Hopefully it was a selfie. But she put it right up to the window and at one point she was looking right at me. Even when she put her phone down and was staring.

This pisses me off that breastfeeding is such a taboo subject and it's so frowned upon that women are ashamed and are driven to stop by the ignorance of others ?

Please don't let this incident ruin breastfeeding in public for you! I'm all for breastfeeding in public. I feel like it SHOULD be a norm but it's not. Yet it's perfectly okay for girls/women to wear next to nothing and not be criticized for it. Especially celebrities (Rihanna can wear a see through dress and she's deemed a goddess ???)

I'm going to be a ftm mom in may and I so badly want to have the courage to breastfeed in public. I know it will be hard. But I also feel if more women did this, if they breastfeed their babies in public more often, eventually it's going to be accepted.

So keep your head up! You were doing the right thing feeding your baby in public. Don't worry about a petty little girl and her camera phone trying to be a brat.

I definitely would've flicked her off. Teenagers are so damn disrespectful.

People are ridiculous sometimes. My husband's brother who was I think 23 at the time would give me the stink eye while I breastfed at family events. I used a cover up and everything so I don't know why he had to be all awkward. And yet I could sit there having a conversation with their 17 year old brother while breastfeeding and it didn't phase him at all ?

ETA: I have tried a cover and I got just as many looks as when I don't use one so now I never use a cover. If people are offended they can look away or come say it to my face. I really don't care.

What a little sh**! Don't let that put u off op! I breastfed all 3 of mine out in public. Luckily no one ever did anything. I didn't use a cover but I did the two top trick. I have fed walking in the supermarket, down the high St, in restarants and cafes and at a funfair lol. Luckily no one said anything cause if they did I would tell them where to go in no uncertain terms trust me!
