siblings
How many siblings do you and your SO have?
I have two older brothers. My husband has two full brothers, one full sister, three half sisters, and an adopted brother for a total of seven siblings. It was his dad having seven kids with four women lol.
We have two. Thought we were done but are expecting a third surprise baby.
I have 5 sisters... My husband has 3 sisters and 1 brother
I feel we both come from a medium size family. I always wanted a large family because I loved growing up in one but after having one child and realising how expensive it is we settled on 3. I am surprised at how many people make rude comments about us having a 3rd child and why we want so many ??
I have one full brother and 8 step siblings. My partner has one full sister, 3 half sisters and a half brother. My extended family is on the larger side but his extended family is huge like I'm talking he has like 50-60 first cousins. We want a big family but just gonna see how we go with each one
I'm the oldest of 6 siblings. 4 brothers and 2 sisters. (I lived with my mom as my parents were seperated, she had 3 boys. My 'father' has one son and 2 girls.. Not counting me, obviously)
My husband has one sibling, a sister.
We have a son, 19 weeks with baby #2, and plan to have 1-2 more. I want one more down the road, DH wants 2 more down the road. I love kids and I never wanted a "big" family.. I've always thought 3 was the perfect number, but it's something I could see myself possibly comprising with later on.
I have just one sibling, a brother. Dh has 6 half siblings but only grew up with one of them, a brother. He didn't meet the other 5 until a few years ago when he reconnected with his bio dad. When I was younger I wanted a big family, I liked the idea of it. But dh only wanted 1 or 2 kids. We agreed on 2, after all it's the number of kids that works best for us financially and emotionally. As I got older I opened my eyes more to what having a lot of kids was really like. I still think it's a great thing if you can handle it but if I'm completely honest with myself two kids is just right for me lol.
Both my husband and I come from a family with 4 kids(including ourselves).
We always said we wanted 3 kiddos, but as my EDD for our 1st is in two days, our new motto is "let's see how this one goes" lol
Seriously though, we would be happy with 2-3, 4 (like our parents) is too much for both of us.
I'm the oldest of 3. My brother is almost 2 years younger than me and my sister is almost 3 years younger than me.
My wife is the oldest of 4. She's 28, next is her brother who is almost 23, sister is 20 and the youngest is 13.
I wanted 2 kids close together, she wanted 1. We have 5 month old boy/girl twins and are done.
Hubby is 1 of 4
I'm the oldest of 5 (2 half, 2 full)
Me and hubby say 3-4 is good for us.
Dh has one brother, one half brother and one half sister.
I have one older brother, one half baby sister, 6 step sisters and one step brother. I was only raised with my older brother.
We have two children now and we might want another in the far future since we are both so young, but that's up in the air. I'm fine with just the two right now. I don't think us coming from smaller families has anything to do with it.
