Theme parks and 1st trimester

Theme parks and 1st trimester

Hey mommies and future mommies! First time momma here ?? My hubby and I found out we were expecting last week and I'm about 6 weeks along. Before learning we were pregnant we had already planned a trip to Disneyland Paris! Has anyone been to a theme park while pregnant, particularly 1st trimester? If so, what did you do or did not do in terms of riding rides at the the parks?

All the rides are marked safe or not safe for pregnancy. I would avoid rides that aren't recommended. I think you can still have a fab time just enjoying the amusement games, peaceful rides and the beauty of Paris. :) your baby is more important than a thrill.x

I went on a rollercoaster at about 6 weeks (my mum said it'd be fine and I trusted her opinion) and then I found out it can cause you baby to become detatched from the placenta, so I'd avoid any rides where you get that floating feeling in your tummy just in case, as the feeling is actually your organs floating inside your body which can't be good for the baby

I'm 24 weeks and stayed at a water park resort recently. All of the rides advised against pregnant riders, but I rode everything and I was fine. I would stay away from anything too rough or bumpy. Otherwise stay within your own body's limitations, as far as nausea and such.

I would suggest watching YouTube videos on all the rides you might be interested in to see what they are truely like and make your decision on each ride based on that. Stay away from fast rides! I'm sure all the rides will say to avoid while pregnant to avoid any legal issues on Disneys end, but many should be slow and safe.
