anyone got tips to turn a transverse baby??

Hi I did everything to try an turn mine, he wouldn't tho. I ended up having him footling breech ?.

I would lay sideways on the edge of the bed with belly an top leg hanging over, if u get what I mean. It's ment to help stretch everything out.

They think that because this is my 6th that there's too much space for him as he can be heads down one minute and then turned sideways the next, they really need his head to be partially engaged. Did they try to manually turn your wee one in hospital? Was it painful? xx

At first the thought he was just abit to the side and just not settled down, so I went in for them to turn him. When a midwife felt my tummy she said straight away that's not he's head it's his bum ?. So they kept me in with the intention of having c-section in the morning, coincidentally I went in to labour early morning an ended up giving birth, which was what I wanted anyway. (They all had a bit of a freak out about it tho ?)

I've had a transverse and a breech at 36 weeks and they both turned themselves. I used the hot and cold trick someone on here suggested, hot at the bottom of your bump and cold near the head - if you can work out which is which.

Thanks ladies, I have also been bouncing on my ball and planning on going on loads of walks as was told it was a gravity thing and that baby just has too much space to manoeuvre as I have been pregnant so often xx
