IMO your health comes first. You gotta take care of yourself. Worst case is you lose your job but it's not the end of the world. Putting you and your baby's health at risk is way more devastating. Keep calling, leave him a message, email him, but I wouldn't go in if still feeling sick.

I'm sure your boss will understand, or hope he will.

You should have stayed home for yourself if not for the health of others around you. Your boss shouldn't expect you to work if you have the flu, and you shouldn't have given in. You can't be fired for a true medical emergency ( in my state at least)! Is the loss of a pet really more important than the overall health of all the employees? Tamiflu takes 3 days before you are no longer contagious.

Do you have an email address or number to the next person up? If you can't get ahold of your boss, maybe let that next person know.

Thanks ladies, I stayed home. I felt the same way. I wore a mask the entire day but last thing I wanted to do was get them sick more with the flu or get what they had on top of what I'm dealing with. I finally got a hold of the office manager and she agreed with me.

Make sure that you have your drs note though. And get it turned in as soon as you can. That way even if he does get upset, there is nothing he can really do about it

You should have stayed home no matter what. Being around others who can get what you have isn't safe.

Good thing I didn't go in, went to internist because I wasn't feeling right. He told me it progressed to a pneumonia :( On heavy antibiotics and he gave me a work excuse for a whole week. Baby getting checked tomorrow morning to make sure he's okay.
