I had the flu when I was about 24 weeks pregnant. I also had gotten the flu shot. It sucked and I was miserable. But I did as doctor said and it went away pretty fast. Baby boy is doing fine and healthy! Stay away from the internet when it comes to this stuff, it always scares the crap out of me and puts unnecessary things in my head. haha Good luck and feel better!

I got the flu very bad I ended up in labor and delivery with needing to bags of iv my heart rate was super high and I almost passed out was severely dehydrated I was contracting a lot but fluids stopped it. Me and baby r good now. Just make sure u r drink ALOT

Did any of you ladies end up taking antivirals like tamiflu?

No they gave me zofran through iv

I had the flu at 14 weeks and ended up in ER! Doc prescribed tamiflu... Make sure u take the entire prescription!!!! It's very important to finish it. It helps build antibodies against the virus. I am 36 weeks and baby is great! Definitely don't go on google! Feel better ?

I had it around 25 weeks. Didn't take tamiflu bc I just didn't feel right about it. I also had flu shot...dd(3) had it at the same time. Not fun but no complications

I did, at around 10 weeks. There are three OBs in the practice that I go to, and one of them said to definitely take the antivirals, one recommended against it, and one was on the fence about it. Helpful, right?! I filled the prescription and went home and thought and stressed about it and ended up deciding not to take them. Thankfully I felt much better the next day and all is well with baby!

My body isn't liking the tamiflu, giving me nausea, vomiting and upset stomach. I'm debating if I should keep taking it. My fever finally broke last night- but that was also after the first dose of tamiflu. On the fence myself about if I should keep trying to take it or not...

Well I guess I don't have to take tamiflu anymore. It progressed to pneumonia :( on heavy antibiotics..

Yes! I had it 2 weeks ago and I'm 22 wks. I had a mild fever and felt so exhausted!! It lasted about 3 days and it past. No complications and I never saw my Doc for it.

Ugh I just got over strep throat and I haven't had that in over 10 years! Of course I would get it while pregnant. It's a pain. Get well soon!!

I did couldnt keep anything down had to go get an iv and some zofran through an iv.

I had the flu when I was about 7-8 weeks pregnant, and Im 19 weeks now. He seems to be completely healthy! I took TamiFlu as well
