IUD problem? Help
So I've had the Mirena IUD for a month now. Last night we were intimate and I had pain from what possibly felt like the Mirena. I woke up this morning feeling the pain. If I move a certain way or at all my cervix or uterus hurts. I have an appt tomorrow afternoon thankfully. But has anyone had pain like this? I'm so scared of the IUD going somewhere it shouldn't. Should I be worried or just try to relax until my appt? ? This totally sucks. Staying home today.

I had pain when I had sex when I had mine in. I had it checked out and the string was too long they said so the trimmed it. It didn't take the pain away. I ended up having it taken out because I couldn't handle having pain every time I had sex. And after

Ugh. This just sucks so bad. What kind of birth control did you get after?

I had it for a year and a half and it never went away. Sex was uncomfortable, going to the restroom was uncomfortable. They told me it would go away but it never did. I got back on the pill (Sprintec) for 3 months then we decided to try for another baby and now Lex is here :).

My dr doesn't think it's the iud. 2 ultrasounds and an exam later the conclusion is my husband probably hit some soft tissue that's trying to repair. Dr actually said to wait a couple of weeks and take ibuprofen before having sex again. My poor uterus haha

I had the same issue it started with pain during sex then it was pain all the time. My dr did ultrasounds and wouldn't take it out wouldn't return calls, so I had to go to another ob who took it out in like 5 seconds and I felt so much better after getting it out with no more pain.
