Try not screwing the tops on so tight if that's an option with what you are using now. I know the ventaire bottles you have to click it closed. We have the medela bottles and he will cave the nipples in if we screw the top on tight. If we turn it just until it fits and doesn't spill out we stopped having that problem.
When u tighten the bottle too tight the nipples do cave in. Maybe try loosening them a little. It works for my daughter when she caves the nipple in. I like the natural ones best but I do have both. I prefer the vent air ones tho. I never have a caved in nipple.
Oh okay thanks for the advice! I'll try not tightening them so much.
We've tried the Medela bottles too. They caves in sometimes. But now I'm assuming it's from tightening too much.
I hope this doesn't sound too selfish but I'm getting tired of cleaning the VentAire bottles. And his colic, gas is better but I still want to benefit from a bottle with a vent system.
Keep with Natural... I used Classic with my first and they leaked most of the time if I didn't sealed them properly. It has an extra piece that goes between the bottle and the nipple that is hard to keep in place while closing it... I have the Natural glass ones now and I love them! Have you tried Dr. Browns?
The Classic has been replaced by Classic Plus. The extra ring has been eliminated in the new version & the reviews I read say that they are vastly improved. I think you'll only find the new version in stores, but the old version is still on some websites, so be careful if you order online. I just switched to the Classic Plus from Dr. Brown's. Its been about a week and so far so good. This is my 3rd baby & I just couldn't take the Dr. Brown's parts & leaking anymore!
I got the Natural ones today. I really wanted the blue bottles but out here, apparently, girls are more popular because there's always pink bottles.
I didn't try the Dr. Browns because I didn't wanna deal with the parts. The VentAire are amazing but I think we're just ready for a more simple bottle. The blue disk were a pain to clean for me sometimes. I thought I washed them good and then they'd dry and there would be dry formula. I even soaked them in hot water and soap. Thankfully I think we're good with the Natural bottles.
And yes, it's all about the classic plus now. That's why I couldn't decide because they both had the same amount of pieces and the classic plus was selling itself haha I didn't realize this card was that old because I was doing online research. Not sure when the change was made but I got this card with some other maternity/baby coupons early this year.
I'm still using the natural even when I exclusively pump. I have all kinds of bottles (Dr browns, chicco, tommee tippee, munchkin) and the Avent ones are for me the best. The nipples never collapse and I've found the 1 to 2 to 3 flow changes to be easy to transition. I just bought a bunch more bottles for daycare actually.

We use the natural and my little girl loves it but we are BF and pumping so she latches better. I don't have any problem with flow or caving nipples.

I use dr Browns and love them, but I used wide nipple and they caved in...so I would go with the "classic" version
