I'm kind of nervous
I've been in L&D for 3 hours. They're not testing my urine, blood, and a gbs test. They're checking for preeclampsia. I didn't realize I had so many symptoms. ? But while they were monitoring me for almost an hour my blood pressure was high. I originally came in for contractions and after being here for two hours I got up to pee and put my pants back on because I was just going to leave. Last time I was here the midwife wasn't too friendly and the nurse had already told me baby is fine. And then the dr comes in and brings up this check for preeclampsia. Now I can't help but sit here and wait for results nervously ?

No results yet but they brought me my 24 hr urine kit.

I'm sorry you had such a frustrating experience. I hope you don't have preeclampsia...and I hope you get answers!

Results came back I don't have have preeclampsia but the dr still wants me to do the 24 hr urine test. So I will turn that in Wednesday morning.

I agree. While I was waiting for results I read up on it and was getting even more nervous. Didn't help I was up a good part of the night with painful contractions. I remember thinking while half asleep, "it's just my body practicing".
And hopefully after this urine test I still don't have it or anything else. I've been healthy this while pregnancy and I don't want to start having problems now. I thought the pains were enough.
