baby to small!?
So today i had a drs appointment well baby is measuring smaller than 2 weeks behind (dr wouldnt say exact how far) so i have to do a sono on tuesday to see how small she is. I have also been having tightening and lots of sharp pains in my cervix well i had the tightening at the drs so i told them so they felt and she said baby dont feel head down and that babys in a weird position which they still consider breeched well again sono will detect that but they feel thats why i have the tightening and the pains anyone been threw any of this what happens if babys to small? Im so nervous ugh

Too early to worry about breeched. It usually isn't until 36 weeks that it becomes a concern. I'm almost 33 weeks and my baby has been head down and breeched and back and forth every appointment.
Weight changes a lot in the third trimester. My baby was about 2 weeks behind but since 30 weeks she's caught up to average. They say (I think) that babies put on 1/2 a lb a week during third trimester.

Oh...my dr was concern for it all cause of her measuring smaller than 2 weeks and also cause of her position but maybe cause im high risk for early labor not sure she said she was all over like sprawled out from what she could tell

I have never been told my babies r to small but I have had all small babies who were completely healthy with no problems at all.
My first 6.8lbs
My second 6.4lbs
My third 7.5lbs
My dr don't even do scans this early she won't give me one until 36/37 weeks. I'm 32 weeks.
But by measurement each pregnancy I have always been 1-2 weeks ahead but I have always had small babies.
Two weeks is not a lot behind and I have time for baby to turn head down.

My baby is measuring behind too. I have an ultrasound tomorrow to see what is going on. I'm so anxious about it.

Shanne3 they are worried as shes measuring more than 2 weeks behind but i hooe all is well as ive akways had small babys as well my first was 6.7lbs second was 7.4 and third was 7.5.

Same here jenny im anxious but worried ive never had this happen before so i hope shes okay and its just something misunderstood

I was measuring 2 weeks behind at 31 weeks she was also breech went in for sono at 32 and She's more like 5 days behind and head down. Lol! It has a lot to do with position, try not to stress it. Either way I was told 2 weeks was still considered normal they were more worried about my fluid level than anything

My ba y is measuring small too. I have to go back in 3 weeks for another sonogram. He's weighing 4 lbs at 34 weeks.

Yikes! I just am afraid that they will take her early and if so i would have to leave 3 kids behind and go to another state thats 2 hours away and thats the closest nicu
