Okay so not fully baby related but is at the same time. I have 3 boys and now this baby im due to meet in june. Well 2 of ny boys are with someone else and i have a 7 month and the baby im pregnant with by my bf.well any ways for about a year and a half if not longer my bf has been having medical problems where he cant stay awake and he is constantly going to the bathroom and hes in there for at lease 15-20 minutes. Well he went to the drs once than lost insurance he now has it back and refuses to go to the dr i keep begging and asking him to go get checked for the safety of himself and our kids. As he watching my kids when im working. Today i found him sleeping on the toilet for almost a hour. I just have no idea what else to do to get him to go get checked i hate to be mean and tell him hes no longer allowed to watch my/our kids no more but for their safety i cant think of any way else to go about it.any help or advice?

Safety first either he goes to the dr or he can't be alone with the kids period. Their more important then anything sooo it's very clear to me he needs to find out what's wrong.
I would probably just make him an appointment n take him with out I'm knowing in when y'all get there cry ur heart out so he'll go inside for the appointment.

Sounds a bit like narcolepsy. Is he like this just recently or was it always an issue? If it's new thing it might be hormonal or some kind of hormone secreting tumor. Sorry to be grim - I'm in Med school and the "gruesome" diseases seem to stick with me the most. Also could be something easy to fix like immune system compromise. Personally I would scare him and make him go. This works for my hubby. He doesn't like doctors or needles.

Its been going for a while. He has been told he had sleep apnea and narcolepsy but had to do farther testing and still hasnt he stopped going and wont go back.

My husband has sleep apnea. And he gets tired quickly during the day because of the bad quality sleep. We got a CPAP machine and makes his sleep - and snoring; so much better. It isn't the most comfortable but I told him if he snores I can't sleep, and I don't want him to die in the middle of the night ;) he did go for a sleep study for one night, they got him on pretty well settings. After couple weeks he went for adjusting and he is fine. He doesn't use it every day. But if he has important meeting or conference call the next day he will use the machine
