So random question, I’m 11 weeks and 1 day I was wondering what I should do in regards to my belly…

I took my belly bar out around 28–30 weeks. When it started getting tight and sticking out . I’m unsure about your nipple piercings, I’d maybe just asked your midwife? X

I took both my belly bar out because it was stretching and took them out again at 12 weeks with this baby to stop them stretching more I didn’t bother with pregnancy bars because I’ve had my piercings years and they never heal up but it’s completely up to you what you do cx

Yeah I’ve had my piercing since I was 15 so I don’t think it will heal. I haven’t got a bump yet I was just wondering.

I didn’t even think 2 ask my midwife regarding my nipple bar, I hate looking at it without the bar in tho, it’s a bit gross..

I left my nipple piercings in all through my pregnancy, maybe get longer bars if you feel them getting a bit uncomfortable x

@toni_mcentee, did you manage 2 breastfeed? I never really thought about it while getting it done and now I don’t really know what I’ve done lol but thank you! X

@christine2904 I'm 20 weeks and I've got my nipple pierced i find it sore a lot and a lots of puss comes outs if advise to get a longer bar for the nipple better for comfort x

@leighjamie99, ohhh thank you!! Do you plan on breast feeding? Gonna have 2 invest in a bigger bar then because this one is already getting small x

@christine2904 I want to breast feed , but I'm not sure about that because I'm sure milk would come out more holes my midwife said you could still breast feed out just the one nipple but I suppose that would get really sore so I'm not too sure x

I took my belly bar out before my 20 week scan, I haven't put it back in either 😂 x

I kept my belly bar in for as long as comfortable with a normal bar and then changed to a flexi bar untill that became uncomfortable which I think was about 35/36 weeks and put it back in the day I gave birth 😂 I'm planing to do the same this time and just change/remove when it becomes uncomfortable xx

I had to take my nipple piercing out when I was around 12 weeks because it started hurting and leaking (gross I’m sorry) and I had to take my belly bar out a couple of months ago because it was so sore and itchy but the hole hasn’t closed up so I’ll just put it back in when baby is born xx

I was huge and kept my belly bar in till I went into the hospital to have him haha. Not sure about nipple piercings x

@christine2904, I didn’t try to breastfeed because of having them and I didn’t really want to take them out because they look weird 😭 x

@chloeanne3005, have you thought about breast feeding? I’m so confused on what 2 do about the nipple piercing situation.. I’ve had it done about 3 years.. only ever changed it once as had it done with a ring and then put a bar in it instead. Xxx

@christine2904, I’m going to breastfeed for the few few days/week and then bottle feed. Now that my nipple bar is out, I’ve noticed that the nipple that was pierced isn’t leaking as much as my other nipple so I think if I was to breastfeed long term, it’d cause problems for me or baby wouldn’t get enough milk. I’d rather bottle feed anyway though xxx
