I have a question for everyone. I am due June 19th. My family is planning to move from Arizona to Oregon next month. I am unable to move with them because I am due in 4 weeks. I am staying back until baby is safe to fly, about 1-2 weeks after birth. Does anyone have any tips for flying with a newborn? For me as well? I have never been on a plane and I am scared of flying.

@hailcoop, is correct. Baby will be sleeping most of the time. Also make sure during take off AND landing you try to feed. The ears can be bothersome and when they’re eating it helps their ears pop. Those would be the only times your baby might get upset.

Also bringing a baby carrier will save your arms. They can not be in it during take off or landing but can stay in it throughout the flight. That way you can have your arms free and even sleep if you wanted. I typically sleep during flights 2+ hours. Flying is actually fun and I much prefer it over driving. Just bring something to do like a book.
