Daycare options?

Hi ladies , as I am in school now I require daycare and we have never used daycare before. My ds is2.5yrs and dd is 16mths. They started their first day at a centre based daycare and were there for 3hrs. When I went back to pick them up the worker told me that dd is too infant like to be with the other toddlers (up to 2.5yrs) and would just sit on the floor and cry and cry and want to be held but that the staff cannot hold her all the time and said she was so distressed she exhausted herself and they put her in the playpen and she fell asleep right away. She said they couldn't keep her and that home daycare would be a better option. Has anyone used homedaycares ? I am just not familiar with any of it. They home ones I will be looking into are licensed through an agency. I am thinking maybe it would be better for both my kids, more attention can be paid to them? But then I am worried about no one else being there to see what goes on, ugh such tough choices! Thanks for any input ladies!

Would you be upset? Dd went camping with my mil and step fil. Well dd got back today and I was asking her how it went. She told me mil made her sleep in the car the first night with her step daughter who is 14. Dd said she was cold and scared that She was crying. She said mil and step fil slept in the tent. Wtf?? I asked mil if it was true and she said yes, that they got there late and she decided to just leave her in the car with it on. I'm very upset.

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

Opinions on crying it out?

Opinions on crying it out? My baby is 8 1/2 months old. I've tried the no tears method and it worked a couple times but now it doesn't anymore. I do squats while holding her and rock her (21 lbs baby) for over an hour each nap all for nothing. My friend said she did cry it out and by the 3rd day her baby would only cry 5 minutes and now he's totally fine with sleeping in the crib. Opinions please? I am the only one who actually raises my kid. My fiancé does not help and I have no family that helps. So it is very hard on me. Thank you Edit: because clearly some of the women on here think I'm a monster. I am an EMT. When I go back to work, I will be gone 24 hours at a time. My daughter is almost 9 months old and cries every minute she is not in my arms. As much as I want to comfort her every second of the day, I can't. And it's better I get her used to sleeping on her own now, than not letting her cry and all of a sudden mommys gone for 24 hours at a time and she completely loses it and I can't just get off work to comfort her.
