What would you do? Long post

My husband received a random text today of pics of a lady in bra and panties that didn’t show her face. It came with a text stating “I finally got the nerve to send you pics of my wife like we discussed, let me know what you like and please, please don’t share these”. The guy texted one minute later that he sent them to the wrong number and apologized and hoped he didn’t offend. My husband forwarded them to me and was laughing like WTF. So my husband just responded “oops!” The guy responds back “yeah big oops, but what did you think?” He then proceeds to give his wife’s breast size and description. He also states “she’s a prude when she’s not drunk”. My husband never responded. Several minutes later the guy sends nudes of the wife. I decide to call the guy and ask him why he’s sending pics of his mediocre wife to my underage son. I really just called to see what kind of creep this guy is and because I thought it’d be funny. He’s overly nice and apologetic and says he’ll block the number and it won’t happen again. I asked if his wife was aware he’s sending her pics out and he said at one time she did but probably not now. He then says they’re going through a nasty divorce and it was poor judgement. I ended up telling him that it wasn’t a minor he sent the pics to but I do question her safety as he mentioned she’s not a prude when she’s drunk. He stated it’s nothing like that and kept apologizing. I called him a creep at the end of the call. Something didn’t sit right with me and I texted my husband stating his voice was eerily familiar. I started googling his number and nothing popped up. I randomly searched his number on Facebook and a profile popped up. I was in complete and utter shock. It is our neighbor!! We talk to them here and there but don’t know them that well. It is the same neighbor’s wife that came over to watch my daughter for 10 minutes until my mom could get to my house when I went into labor. We are shocked and uncomfortable. My husband wants to know what the guy wanted from this. Did he want pics of me? Did he want to see if something would happen or if my husband had interest in his wife? I’m not sure if his wife is aware or in on it. I don’t know if they are getting a divorce or if that’s a lie. I don’t believe he knows we know it’s him. I personally feel like I want to confront him in person to ask what the expected outcome was but my husband just wants to avoid them at all costs. I also feel that she should know he sent us those pics if she wasn’t in on it. What would you do in this situation?
