My baby boy is here!!

My due date was 12/24. I was slated to see the MD in the morning if I still hadn’t had him. I decided to return a couple of items Tuesday evening and then headed home. At 9:00 pm I was sitting on the couch and felt a pop and started contracting. I thought my water was going to break but it didn’t, I knew the contractions were real because they hurt more than they ever have. I started timing them with the app and they were 3 minutes apart. I called my mom who lives 30 minutes away to come stay with my daughter. At about 9:40 I told my husband I couldn’t wait any longer and had him get our neighbor to wait with my daughter until my mom got there. We got to the hospital a little after 10pm and I practically ran to labor and delivery. I was 10cm dilated. My water broke around 11 and after 3 pushes Joel was born at 11:09. He weighs 7lbs 12 oz and is 21 1/4 inches long. It all happened so fast I’m still in shock.
