It's been a long year
My husband and I have one daughter who is four. We got pregnant with her on our first month of clomid which I used because I have pcos. After I gave birth I had the Mirana and loved it. Last May we decided we wanted to try again and I had my bc removed June 3rd. I bled every single day until October when I decided to take clomid from a friend myself because the doctors advice to wait it out that it was normal was driving me insane. Clomid then stopped the bleeding and with metformin I've been able to have mostly regular cycles, in November I was a little late. We moved across the country in November so there was some stress too but I was able to start seeing a new doctor in December. He did a full fertility lab work up for me to confirm pcos was only my problem I started clomid again in January. Jan with 50mg I didn't ovulate, February with 100mg I didn't ovulate, finally with my March cycle I got a positive ovulation test with 150mg and in April I did again with 150mg. Unfortunately the military doctor is only prescribing the clomid and not monitoring my follicles or ensuring I ovulate so I can only go off those test. I'm due for af on Saturday and I just know it will come. I've tested the last three days when I keep telling myself not to and they have all been negative. With such ease of getting pregnant with one round of clomid for my daughter I never expected this year to be so rough on me. I'm feeling completely run down even though I recognize I've only ovulated two months out of the last year. I'm so tired of the clomid side effects and the military won't allow them to prescribe femara because it's not approved for fertility. Today I need to call the doctor to see if I can pick up clomid early this month before I start my cycle because I'll be on vacation next week when I need to start it. Four more months of clomid allowed if I keep getting positive ovulation test and then I think we're just going to be done?. Thanks for reading.
