Spotting

Okay so this is day 4 of spotting, and when I say spotting I mean some discoloration once or twice a day when I wipe. My period is supposed to show between today and Monday and nothing yet. Could my period be messed up still from my miscarriage it July? I had a 'normal' period at the end of July and am just confused as to why the spotting???? Any thoughts???
