Breastfeeding rant..

My DD woke up last night to eat. At 12:47. She didn't stop until almost 4 am. I kept trying to take her off the boobies & put her back to sleep, but she'd just cry and want to eat more.. she is 17 days old..is it even possible for her to have eaten that long?? Am I maybe not producing enough milk so she wasn't even getting anything?? My DF wanted to get up and go to the store for formula because I was crying my eyes out. Luckily she finally went bck to sleep..Ughh its now 8 am and I am so sleepy..
