With my first pregnancy back in 2014 my ob was able to hear the baby heartbeat at 10 weeks on first try but the ob I'm seeing now ( same office ) didn't even attempt to try to hear a heartbeat today at my appointment ( 9 weeks 4 days ). He says he will try at my next appointment ( 13 weeks ) but he said it's no guarantee that I will hear one even at that appointment. I know that it would've been hard but I think he still could of tried.
