I'm 10+2. We're waiting until the weekend after Mother's Day to tell our friends and family.

Thanks for all the comments ladies, I haven't told anyone at all only me and DH know and this will be my first child. I am pretty close with my mom but only see her once or twice a month so it shouldn't be too hard to hide for another month and I think it will be worth it just to do something special. I just felt like I was the only one left still keeping a secret lol.

I think it just depends on if others will know. If you aren't telling anyone else and then surprise her I think it's lovely. If others know, if his mother knows...or friends, then your mom may feel hurt or left out. It just all so depends. I told my mom I was pregnant before I could even had a positive pregnancy test (this is third baby, fourth pregnancy and my body is pretty clear on what's happening ?). I always want to do something special but I just can't ever wait, so really I love this idea, I think you just want to make sure she's not hurt...especially if you two are very close.

You're probably going to be showing by then and she'll probably have an idea that you are, just won't comment on it unless you say it.... I would tell her before but you could get her the ring early and say it's all an early Mother's Day gift?

It seems a bit far away to announce. BUT I don't think to weird to include kids and grandkids.
