I had spotting at 5DPO (and we didn't conceive naturally so I know 100% for sure what day I Oed) and it was definitely IB. Implantation USUALLY happens between 6-12DPO from what I've read, but also takes a few days. It could start a little earlier than usual at 5DPO but not be complete until 8. GL! :)

Okay thanks! I've never had any sort of spotting before.. not sure what it could be then :)

Early for implantation.  6-12dpo is usual
