EGGS
My baby's dr said we could give him scrambled eggs but to mix with milk instead of water. Did I hear that right? Milk not water. I'm just making sure because I read a lot of things about babies not being able to have cows milk until 1 year old.

Thanks ladies! I just wanted to be sure because she said milk instead of water. So I wanted to make sure I didn't hear it backwards.
When I make scrambled eggs i don’t mix them with anything. Just eggs.
But Madeline has yogurt daily so milk isn’t an issue. And it’s not like you are giving your baby a glass of milk. The amount will be very small and cooked.
I would simply just go with whatever your preference of cooking is. Madeline is eating what we are eating, we aren’t adjusting her food at all.
I think that when it’s cooked it changes the composition of the milk. That said, you also shouldn’t give it to your baby if he/she has a cows milk protein intolerance, which is different than lactose. You could always use almond, rice, coconut or soy milk as a substitute, if you’ve already eliminated those as allergens. Personally, our allergist told us to leave eggs til last, so I haven’t tried it yet.
I heard of people mixing milk in their eggs to make it more fluffy and stretch. I never preferred it personally and now I don’t even eat eggs anymore.
