I have 14 days until my due date and I feel like my baby's never gonna come out. I haven't had a single contraction or anything. I've been walking the past few nights but I can't do it for more than 30-40 minutes without getting cramps. At my appt yesterday they said next week they'll check for dilation and give him a time limit. A friend that sees the same dr told me that they wouldn't induce her until 41 weeks. I don't wanna go 41 weeks ??

Same here. I have been having contractions though, but doc checked dilation yesterday and I was only at a fingertip.... so all these contractions are doing squat!! 38w1d but they said they would induce around 40 weeks because I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes.... so about two more weeks for me!

@jmgwhite ugh I'm sorry you have gestational diabetes but at least you'll get to meet your baby soon! I still have 2 weeks until my due date but am starting to lose hope lol.

14 days left also and I haven't had any symptoms showing that he his coming anytime soon! At my 36 weeks appointment they told me i was thinning out but not dilated and then 37 weeks they didn't check :( I believe I lost a piece of my mucus plug last week so I'm really hoping I am dilated. Praying they check at my next appointment

You may not have symptoms ahead of time. With my daughter I went in on my due date for a checkup, no contractions, no dilation, no symptoms at all I felt great. Scheduled an induction the following week. But three days later I woke up with contractions and baby came that day.
It could happen at any time with not a lot of notice.

@casey I lost some of mine the other day too! So I'm hoping something happens soon. @heather that makes me feel better! Hopefully it happens unexpectedly within the next 2 weeks.
