Swing, ergo/carrier/wrap, arms reach co-sleeper

Diapers, bounce seat or swing(really just a safe place to set baby down), I prefer a small bounce seat so I can bring baby into the bathroom when I shower, baby carrier, carseat, footed jammies, muslin swaddle blankets.

Babies don't really need a whole lot.

Really need. You, food, somewhere to sleep and a carseat, and some clothes.

Things that are lifesavers, a temple thermometer, a crib wedge for reflux babies, swaddle blankets, a baby carrier, sound monitor, swing/bouncer combo.

Needs I would say diapers, wipes, diaper bag, food, bottles (if you're bottle feeding) few clothes, I'm personally gonna have a basinet/ rock & play type thing until she hits the weight limit (15lbs), swaddle blankets, socks, scratch mittens, gripe water, thermometer & nail clipper, car seat.

I had such a hard time getting my first to sleep till I started using some kind of white noise.

I used an old radio at first, an app on my phone worked great but then I couldn't use my phone, so I got a sound machine that stays on all night. So for me a sound machine is a must have.

Things baby will absolutely need once born -

Diapers

Wipes

A place to sleep (if not cosleeping)

Some swaddle blankets

A few onesies/sleep and play jammies

Car seat (to get to and from)

Formula (just in case breastfeeding doesn't go as planned - we used the small 2 oz ready to feed bottles with disposable nipples for the very beginning)

Honestly - everything else is really up to your own personal preference. But I feel like these are the absolute essentials in those first few weeks.

Clothes, food, wipes and diapers. A car seat if you drive.

Babies really don't require much but the accessories are just so cute!

Sleeping area

Swing for daytime

Sound machine

Wrap or ring sling

Diapers/wipes

Burp cloths (my 1st spit up all the time)

Night light for evening changes/nursing

And an arsenal of supplies for long feeding sessions: BF pillow, nipple shield, breast cream, hydrogel breast pads, hand pump, hair ties/headbands (b/c Life), tv remote, water, cellphone charger.
