I got a motorolla one and so far it seems awesome. Our house is small though so I dont really feel like any of them would have been bad for us. However I have been told by several people to avoid the wifi ones because neighbors can pick up the signal and listen to you and also the wifi can go out and you will think baby is fine when in reality theyre actually screaming and you dont know it.

I've had a Samsung video monitor for my son for over 2 years and it works great, despite the fact my son has dropped it more times than I can count and pulled out the antenna, still works good. Lol now I'm looking for a new one that has 2 cameras so I can have one in my sons room and one In my daughters

We prefer summer monitors because they're close circuit monitors which means the camera only communicates with the monitor. Wifi ones can be hacked

We have a summer one (it's a non wifi one by choice) we used with our toddler and still do! We just bought an additional cameras to still run off the same monitor! So we have 3 cameras total, running off the one video monitor! One for our 2 year olds room, one for the new baby and one for the play room!

We got a vtech, also not wifi. My best friend has the same.

We will be using Nest camera instead of a baby monitor.

We used the angel care brand with my daughter and still do. When she was an infant we used the motion sensor that came with it but once she started rolling it was pretty pointless because she would roll out of the center of the bed and set it off causing me to have a heart attack and run to her all hours of the night.

The hubs wanted this Motorola video one. It has wifi, he said he wanted to be able to be at work and look at his baby whenever he wanted without having to get me to video call with him Lol. I really didn't care. TBH i probably will wind up buying a cheaper audio only one to have as back up in case the pricey tech model he wanted decides not to work! ?

Have a summer infant one but it's almost 4 yrs old. Switching to vtech (still closed circuit-not into wifi) bc it has more options. I really want to see room temp, have a bigger screen and have two way talk functions. It's a good price.

I got a couple babies r us gift cards from my baby shower so I've been looking at them online, I think I like the summer infant one I found! It has good reviews and if you ladies say that's a good brand from your experience that's good enough for me!

@saraallen which Samsung one do you have? My friend has a Samsung one too and says she loves it. I just didn't see many of them on the babies r us site. Only reason I'm looking there is because I have enough gift cards to cover it lol.

I also use the summer one and have since my daughter was born. She's 2 now. I will continue when this baby comes.
