anyone have experience with passing out
So today I was in the dollar store waiting in line forever, I started getting really hot and I just waited still so I could check out I already had a headache since earlier and only ate breakfast today. I got so hot I just decided to walk out and as I went to walk out it got blurry and by the time I got to the door I could barley see, an older couple grabbed me and asked if I was okay and I told them idk I just couldn't see and that I was really thirsty and pregnant. They brought me to their car sat me down gave me some water and called 911. The hospital tested my blood and everything came back normal but they didn't check anything about the baby. They just made sure I wasn't in pain or had any bleeding. My mom said if they were concerned about the baby they would have checked so I'm trying not to worry to much about it. I'm 14 weeks today and this is my first pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone else has had experiences with getting dizzy or passing out?

Same happened to me with my 1st 2 boys, the dr said sometimes the baby can put pressure on your abdominal aorta and it will bottom out your blood pressure. Then they move off and you're fine again.

That makes me feel better. They didn't tell me that. The dr tried giving me a cat scan but I refused because I didn't wanna risk the radiation with the baby. Plus my ob said headaches are completely normal during pregnancy. I also didn't eat today besides breakfast so I think that might have been a factor also.

Yes! I thinks is dehydration... although we think we're drinking enough water apparently not.. try to drink nothing but water... you may think your drinking enough but our bodies are working overtime it runs thru water faster than using regular unleaded gasoline.. lol.. Once I drink water and relax I'm good... this happens when your not pregnant too... remember water is our best friend..

Yeah I've been bad at it lately. And yesterday I had like one bottle maybe only. Not good. I deff need to drink more.

I have. But mine ended up being a severe blood sugar issue. I have severe hypoglycemia brought on by pregnancy.

My experience was not as severe, but I am 14 weeks today as well and woke up with a big dizzy spell. I got up to let the dog out and only made it as far as the living room couch before calling for my husband. I downed a bottle of water and rested for about an hour and felt better after. My family thought it was due to dehydration.

I get dizzy a lot. Never to the point where I couldn't see but I've noticed a direct link between when I'm feeling lethargic/light headed and needing to drink water. Gonna get a big water bottle to carry around.

Happend to me today. I was getting my nails done and felt dizzy and next minute the nail lady was saying excuse me are you okay. I had passed out for a few seconds. I didnt eat breakfast and had a late small dinner as i wasnt feeling well last night so think thats why. Scared me tho! Im 14 weeks and 4 days.

I had this during my first pregnancy and it's even worse this time around. I feel weak and dizzy a lot but it's mainly because I've not eaten for a while or had enough to drink.

I haven't passed out, but at least twice this week, I had to sit down because I felt like I was going to. The feeling passed after I sat for a few minutes.

Yes, I have a couple of times with this pregnancy and with my first I had a similar situation. The important thing is that you know what it feels like to faint so if it happens again you know to sit down and ask for help. Make sure you carry a small snack like crackers or something and don't go too long without eating. Frequent small snacks and LOTS of water!

Thank you so much everyone. I feel a little better about it now knowing it happens to other people, I was just really worried it had something to do with the baby. But the more I read it's common. I also think it's due to not eating or drinking enough cause the day before I didn't eat much either because I was out all day Christmas shopping. So I deff will eat and drink more especially before I try doing stuff.
