I had my first appt with my new dr a few weeks ago and I had an ultra sound and I was 8 weeks 6 days! We saw the heartbeat and she said everything looked great. My next appt is Friday and I'll be 12 weeks 6 days. I was wondering if I'll get another ultra sound at this appt? Probably not since I just had one 4 weeks prior right? I was just curious this is my first pregnancy so I don't l know to much! Lol thanks in advance

They will most likely just use the doppler to check the heartbeat. But it depends on the dr.
I went for my 12 week appointment last Thursday and they couldn't pick up the heartbeat on the doppler so they did an ultrasound and found it and we got to see baby!

I have my second this Thursday at 13 weeks and I was told no ultrasound only Doppler. I had one for dating and won't have another until 20 weeks.

That's what I figured! I'm pretty sure at last appt she said next time we would just hear the heart beat since we only got to see it. I just wasn't exactly sure. Thanks ?
