So freaking irritated. My husband's 20 year old son is staying with us until he gets on his feet because he would be on the streets if not here (He just graduated high school last year). And he has been here a week and hasn't even tried looking for a job he has an excuse for everything. Also he won't do anything but play video games and sleep. I'm losing my cool. I have a 2 year old and 3 month old i dont need another baby to take care of. I have no idea what to do. I've been filling out applications left and right and i making comments every time i do so and he isn't taking the hint. Sorry just needed to vent

Give him a deadline date to get job. Or he will have to move out. I'd definitely do something quick to get him motivated

I would give him a deadline for sure. I would kind of be a little fair at first and then if hes still not doing anything after another week or two then more motivating. Sometimes when that happens to someone they get depressed and discouraged and fall into a slump. Not saying that an excuse but it does happen. Just try to be as encouraging as possible I’m sure he will get going eventually.
