Celestone injections

I started spotting on monday due to Partial Placenta Previa. Went in today to my appt. Dr. said everything looks good i just need to slow down and rest. Pelvic rest, no heavy lifting and i need to take it easy. He wants to take preventative measures to ensure baby will be okay if he comes early. He wants me to get 2 doses of Celestone steroids to help babys lungs mature. Have any of you had that injection and had any side effects? Just curious. Thank you mommas.

Thank you JB. We will see how it goes tomorrow. I hope it doesn't hurt too much. I hate needles.

Only side effects I had were pain at the injection site and insomnia.

niknak...thank you. I already suffer from insomnia so that shouldn't be that bad. I have it scheduled for 2:00pm. I appreciate the input ?

No side effects other than some insomnia right after. I got mine in the middle of the night unfortunately. I think feeling jittery is the most common side effect and some soreness at injection site
