Yeah I'm definitely staying away from the solar eclipse. My boys will get to see it at school so I'm excited for them but me and tu are not risking it.

According to my mother, I'm suppose to wear a key near my tummy (or clipped to my underwear). My husband says not to even go out that day, he says it's a bad omen for an expecting mother to see an eclipse. Lol I'll just wear my red undies and my house key just to be safe. ?

I guess i will wear the safety pin. Giving in to old wives tales ?

I heard that's for the lunar eclipse but it's a myth

I have my first ultrasound appointment that day! ? but yes I already have my glasses ready!

And for the old wife tale: here thet say the opposite ? it's actually a sign of luck! old wife tales dating back from the 8th century say that if you watch a solar eclipse while pregnant of a boy it will make him strong and a born leader and if you're pregnant of a girl it will make her skin lighter?

I heard it too they say u should wear a red ribbon around your stomach and safety clip in the middle and wear red underwear lol. So I'm gonna do this on Monday lol won't be watching the solar eclipse lol I don't want to risk anything with my baby. It's just a myth but since I grew with so many of them it's hard just to ignore them
