Costochondritis anyone had it?

Hi I used to suffer with it years ago. Haven't had a flare up for ages though. What have they given you for it?

Ah shell I have this!not had the pain for about a year but f me I know the pain!!plenty of ibuprofen and anti inflammatory tablets don't wear a bra or anything constricting to your chest sleep propped up abit as when I slept on my side I felt like the pain was worse!and hot water bottle between your boobs or a ice pack I liked doing both and just plenty of rest no heavy lifting x

Yep. Had it was my first and got it again now. I'm 33 weeks yesterday. I'm in agony most of the time but it did dissappear the day after I gave birth last time!

I've had it quite a few times and they never say what it is! This time they said it could be this. Gotta have a chest X-ray and bloods they wanna see if my vitamin d is low as apparently that can cause it. All she said was take ibuprofen. I've never had the pain last as long as this it usually goes after 24 hours! I hope it's gone by Monday cos work was horrible on Friday with the pain! Also rest ?? What's that!? Lol

Are there any quick remedy that will make the pain go away! I've got so much to do but it's hurting so much! ??

I had it the whole way through my teens, was awful! There's tablets the doctor can give you which you take everyday to stop it, and take lots of ibrupofen etc x

Yeah ask the doctor shell they gave me some tablets that are like anti inflammatory and something else to help it x

This is the longest I've had it and it's hurting so much! Did you work with it? I struggled on Friday at work! I hope it's gone by Monday! X

I've been in a&e this morning as was awake all night crying in agony they gave me naproxen. Hope it works fast! X
