You could either print straight onto card, print onto paper, cut out and stick on to the cards or handwritten them.

Ours were handwritten, oh has nice handwriting ?

I handmade mine, it was quite hateful lol only because I chose a really fiddly design though, & our wedding was small so I didn't have to make too many. If you go to a craft supply shop, you can buy the blank cards and then slightly smaller sized paper inserts that you can just stick in your printer. I just used pritt stick up the fold of the paper to stick them to the card, works well ? Oh has a 1st class degree in graphic design, so I made him do all the text design and layout. I had all the text on the paper insert, front was blank. Just be careful because some home printers won't print directly onto thick card. I'll try to post you a picture of one when it's not stupid o'clock in the morning lol xx

Most card making shops have open days or taster sessions of how to use their products and ideas. Hobby craft were amazing.

They have loads to choose from and you can even pick your own colours to match your theme etc. You add in all your own details and then just print them off and make them look fancy pants! They even do full suites so you can do matching info cards, rsvps etc. All completely free. I just went to hobbycraft and paid for my card, envelopes, glitter etc X

If you make a rough idea of your invite and then measure it where you want the writing. Go onto Microsoft word and change the paper size to the size of where the writing will go and print off one and have a play. I printed onto card and put it on a different colour background. I can post a picture if you like? Once you get the hang of it there's no looking back x

I decided to do them myself as well, but after having bought all the paper, stationary, supplies, etc, it ended up being more expensive than it would have been if I just bought them ? just a heads up!

We printed onto cream paper, cut out with wavy scissors and used glue dots to stick them on xx

We bought a template off etsy for about £6, a printer and some thick brown kraft card, it was still cheaper than some of the eBay quotes and we could play around with the design so that it suited us. Bonus was we then had a printer to print off name cards and thank you cards afterwards.

I brought some from eBay they where about £1 each and they looked lovely they had ribbon on and the names were printed on invites.
