Giant knickers! Honestly the best thing as they don't rub against the scar. I can't think of anything else that helped lol peppermint tea maybe for wind ? Xx

Lots of goodies. Easy snacks on hand like a graze box maybe or something similar.. Best thing I was gifted after giving birth was food? X

We made our friend a hamper of food goodies. Slightly different that her baby was in hospital 30 miles away, but she was recovering from an emcs. We did a few meals for the freezer, her favourite- a cheese board and crackers, loads of sweets and chocolates, some snack things to take to the hospital and a takeaway menu and £20.

My sister still lives at home with my mum so she's not gotta worry about food but I was thinking a hamper with sweets chocolate, big nickers like you say, maybe some new pjs that are compfy what about leggings? Can you wear leggings a week after? Xx

I was back in jeans the day after mine as I wasn't in any pain. Maybe get her some pamper bits (badedas bubble bath is great after) X

Arnica tablets! They were a godsend after my natural delivery so can only imagine how much they help after a section!

They reduce bruising. They were amazing!

I found nighties so much more comfortable than pjs, and maternity leggings so they went up and over my scar, even now if I wear something on my scar it will irritate etc xx

I second granny knickers. Full briefs 2-3 sizes bigger. She'll love those lol.

Granny knickers, stretchy leggings that will sit high on her tummy, my sister in law swore by a nursing pillow after her section but I didn't really need it after mine x

Granny knickers!! And my mum got me some lovely high waisted pyjamas after mine so they didn't rub against my scar. I loved them. Also loads of treats xx

I know this'll sound a bit boring, but bottles of water were amazing. If she's breastfeeding then they recommend to be drinking constantly especially whilst feeding, so having sorts cap bottles made things so much easier for me! Xx
