Is she happy to eat fruit? I found laxatives didn't work for me, dried apricots do however. They gave me something else to try if the stuff they've given you doesn't keep going back.

They told us to give ds fig juice - vile but nurse in the hospital promised it would work and it defo did xx

I don't know how old you're little one is but I've suffered all my life with going to the toilet and the only thing that works for me is hot ( as hot as you can drink it obviously warm for babies) diluted orange juice it works within half an hour made quite strong x

She's nearly one, I've been using it as her poo is so hard she's crys when she poos, she eats fruit most days and has water. I've given prune pouches too. Think a trip to the doctors after work tomorrow to see if they can look into why she's like this. She was ok until Christmas X

She seems ok apart from when she goes for a poo then she crys xx

I've got movicol for babies prescribed for my little one for the same reason and it's worked within 2 days no more crying baby! I'd recommend asking for it! X

Id also say maybe go back to go & get movicol? Worked really well for us , hope she starts feeling better xx

My DD was the same once, she suddenly stopped going and was on lactulose for a week with no joy. I went back to the doctors and he gave me suppositories. Not the most pleasant thing to give them, but after it had dissolved DD asked me if se could go play in the garden, thank goodness because she basically erupted 10 minutes later ?. I was so glad she felt better, but everything she was wearing from the waist down went in the bin ? xx
