I'm the same...we live near the Isle of Skye and my family are all 4-5hours away in Glasgow. I love going to visit but hate being away from home any longer than a night or two...always miss my husband too much! x

I'm completely different, I really enjoy visiting my parents. I live in South Wales and they're in Manchester so it's a good 3.5 hour drive without traffic.

Don't get me wrong, I totally miss my OH while I'm there and wish he could come. The only reason he can't is because we struggle to get someone to watch our dogs and my mum won't have them in her house ?, so he has to stay home and dog sit.

I think I manage a bit better though because we were long distance for the first two years, so I'm used to being away from him. We're hoping that once baby arrives his parents will help with the dogs a bit more, will have to wait and see.

Yeah..was in Westwood ho! On Monday I went to the waterfront so my Niece and nephew could have a play ? x

Get down to Gaye's (ice cream place by the stream) go for the mega ice cream always makes me feel better!
