Mirena removal Hi ladies. Currently TTC #2 after having back to back mirena coils for last 10 years…

Hey Hun, I had my mirena for 2 years and had it out Aug 10th. Rarely had a period when it was in but strangely enough had one the week before it was removed. Had nothing from the day of removal (not even a bleed due to removal) then had a visit from AF about a week later, which I counted as my first proper AF. I'm a day away from my fertile window and pink pad says I'm due to ovulate on sep 10th. Just give it time, the doctor told me fertility returns as soon as its removed so you may get AF soon. Hello & welcome we're also ttc #2 I'm on my 2nd month but actively trying on first month after removal of mirena which was on the 8/7/15 I had mine in for just over a year. I got my next AF on 16/8/15. When my one was out I had spotting for a good couple of days so I wasn't too sure if that did count as AF but definitely on 16/08 my AF was heavy flowing which is normal for me. Good luck ?

Thank you :) I did not have a single period throughout the last 5-6 years, just spotting occasionally, especially when coil change. I really hope I get AF soon coz would like to know where I am in my cycle. I doubt I have ovulated for the last 10 years so I hope my ovaries still work. Fingers crossed

Took me three weeks to start after removal spotting for three days following removal...

Hi! I had mine removed July 8 and had removal bleeding for a few days then started af 2 weeks later started in August exactly 28 days after first af. Using opks now to make sure I'm ovulating

I bled about 6 days after my removal (which was removed when I was supposedly ovulating.) got full af two weeks after removal. Ovulated for the first time in about ten years about 4 weeks after IUD was removed.

You could use opks to see if there is any indication of ovulation coming!

When I had mine out after baby number one(to try for number two) I had AF about two weeks after removal and then not more after that period as I feel pregnant:)

I have been using opk but all negative. Did a HCG test this morning in case I had conceived straight after coil removal and bfn. I will just wait and see what the next few weeks holds. Thank you ladies :) good luck

With both my removals it took me 3-4 to conceive my second and third started trying the day of removal

I have had cramping today so did ovulation test and it was positive. Early night tonight ;)
