Am I overreacting? I hate to be one of those that freaks out over everything, but here I go.

I hate to be one of those that freaks out over everything, but here I go.

So I'm 27 weeks 3 days. This morning baby wasn't moving as much a usual, but I figured it was because I was walking around at the fair with the kids. So I got myself a snow cone, and ate some lunch and laid down. She's moving more now, but not as strongly as I'm used to.

If she doesn't pick up here soon I plan to hit up L&D. My question is, am I being overly paranoid? I mean she's moving often enough to pass a kick count. She's moved about 10 times in the last half hour, just not bigger, stronger ones. I don't know. I just don't want them to think I'm a dramatic nut if it's nothing.

I get like that too and I'm still like that at 36 weeks- today he's been super calm and I elephant walked and moved him around until he woke up and started responding. I think they just have their days and that we have to try not to be anxious but I'll be honest. I read this story about a mom who noticed during the day that her baby hadn't moved much and then she couldn't pass a kick counter and went to L&D sure enough they had to do an emergency c-section. I think if the baby can pass then baby is ok, I think if not then it's dangerous BUT no matter what trust your mom intuition and if it says go and get checked out- then go.

My OB told me not to be worried about movement until after 28 weeks. You're close, but as long as she's moving I'm sure she's fine. But if you're truly worried go in & get checked out.

It wasn't so much a kick count as it was how weak the movements were. Lo usually beats the heck out me after I eat lol. But everything was fine. I couldn't feel her moving but could hear her move on the monitor lol. I hate feeling like a paranoid nut, but given my history in predisposed to be so lol
