Help!
I'm at a loss with my son. He is 3yo and for the last 3 almost 4 months he's been great on the potty. The last few days, however, he's been waiting too long and not making it on the potty. He makes it to the bathroom, but not to the toilet. Then today he didn't even make it to the bathroom. For the last five days he's had at least one, usually two, accidents a day after about two months of not a single one. I'm not sure what to do to help him go in time and not get so distracted he has an accident because he waited too long.

Could he possibly have a uti or bladder infection? Log so he may not be feeling the sensation to go until it's too late.

This happened with my daughter as well when she was first trained, don't get mad and just encourage him to try to remember to go to the potty sooner. I would also maybe start asking him just a simple "hey do you need to use the potty?" My son used to get so into playing that he would end up peeing himself while he's sitting playing.. He did it a few times and he was actually way too old to be doing it lol so maybe he's just getting distracted.
