Silent reflux?
I don't know if my LO has this or not. She seems to swallow a lot at random times and always gets wet-sounding hiccups. When she lays down in sleep she seems to struggle and squirm a lot more than DS ever did. She also chokes and wheezes sometimes. Am I being a paranoid mama and just assuming there's an issue? I've never seen this issue before. Anyone ever dealt with silent reflux? Does any of this sound familiar?

My son had reflux but his symptoms weren't like your baby's. he would fall asleep sitting up but wake up as soon as he was laid flat. He would cry constantly if laid flat. He wanted to nurse constantly. Once we put a wedge under his mattress and got some medication to thicken his milk he settled down.

As pp said my bub would scream after a few minutes placed on his back flat, always wanted to be held up not laying down etc. I woul chat with go though as some of it does sound like the symptoms

My dd was diagnosed with silent reflux as a newborn. When laid flat she would sound congested and nothing helped relieve it. She also didn't want to nurse, drooled a lot, and had wet sounding hiccups and burps.

Thanks everyone. I plan on talk to the doc, I just wasn't sure if I was in crazy mama mode or if there might actually be some issue.
