Kinda freaking!
Soooo got a lovely call today from The Children's Hospital. Apparently after my 20 wk ultrasound they were requested to set up an appointment to do a fetal echocardiogram on my lo. I hadn't heard anything from my doc and everything as far as I know looked fine. I'm hoping this is due to a family member having a heart defect, but I'm still flipping my lid a little ? I'm hoping it'll just turn into an opportunity to see LO again and be nothing more than a precaution. Anyone else ever had to have one?

Had one with my dd. They could never get a good picture of her heart so they had to send me for one of these. Everything turned out fine. Just like an ultrasound.

I had one also! It was a little spot on his heart, she reassured me it was totally common and normal but sent me just to be on the safe side and everything is fine!! She said it was just calcium

i had to have an echo done on myself and they wanted a fetal eho on the baby :) everything turned out fine and nothing to worry about . i by the way have a genetic disorder that warranted the check on the baby

Well I finally got ahold if the docs office. And it is simply because I have a sister with a congenital defect. I was hoping that was why and not because they saw something on my previous us. So hard not to freak yourself out sometime lol. Thanks for the replies. ?
