Helpful Information!!! Per Dr's Orders!!!

Now I don't have metabolic syndrome or pcos, I ovulate on my own and my cycles are regular give or take a few days.. But I am on Metformin 1000mg 2x a day Prenatals, Thyroid meds and vitamin b6. And femara starting next cycle for 4 month's.. Ive had one cp and three BO's I'll be 35 in August I'm praying for a BFP very soon...

I recently started a no carb diet. Not specifically to get pregnant but to decrease my sugar cravings. I have lost 6 lbs in a week! Maybe it'll help improve my chances. Thanks for posting.

Just curious but if you don't have PCOS why are you on Metformin? X

Dr said the Metformin and femara together would help me have better egg quality seems how ive had 1 cp and 3 BO's and my kids are 17 year's apart ive tried for 17 long heartbreaking year's..

Insulin plays a big part in ovulation and the Metformin will also help me with insulin resistance.

I don't have another 17 year's and would like a sibling close in age for my 19 month old before my clock run's out..

So my Dr is trying to help speed things up ?

I started Metformin last August and conceived in October that was the fastest I've conceived... Ever! Usually takes 3 or more years of trying

Been on metformin for a month. Been eating healthier since, but it is so hard!!

Just upped my dose to 1500mg today.
