femara and trigger shot??
Hi.. I have a question for the beautiful ladies in this group. On the 9th at 8w I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum this was my 4th loss.. I had a D&C on the 12th and I'm on metformin 1000 mg 2 x a day.. Low dose aspirin. And I started femara 2.5mg today as CD3... first time with fertility treatments. I will also have a trigger shot after my scan on CD13 if eggs are mature. Can anyone give me any info or advice on this? I asked in ttc after miscarriage but I no one had much information or experience with it. Thank you in advance for any information. :)

I am just seeing this (8am where I am at). I was on famera two cycles ago I have PCOS so it's not really going to help me I had one follicle grow this past cycle I was on Clomid and had three. The trigger shot was easy peasy. I can say make sure you test the trigger out (see it go from pos to neg) I know mine leaves my systems 4days after the shot. Some people it can take up to 14 days.

JJackson thank you so much for the advice. I didn't know anything about testing out the shot. I will definitely be doing that.

I'm currently in the same boat. D&c on nov. 5th. Waiting on my cd 15 scan. My cd 10 scan with femara and follistim resulted in a few 11mm follicles. Really hoping they got bigger!
